After School Activities

Afterschool activities give our students the opportunity to socialize with their peers in a structured and fun environment.

Examples of Activity Descriptions:

Book Club
Nothing beats a good book! Students will enjoy reading/listening to a book at each event. Participants will discuss important themes and lessons and enjoy partaking in related activities.

Cooking Class
Students will work together to identify needed ingredients, practice kitchen safety, use appropriate kitchen appliances and tools, and follow a recipe. Planned recipes include pizza rolls and chocolate chip filled desserts.

Dance Club
Students will enjoy a creative movement class and learn about a variety of dance styles, such as ballet, jazz, and hip-hop. Students will be encouraged to stay active, use their imagination, and be creative.

Fun with Friends
Get ready for fun surprises at each event. Students will enjoy a variety of seasonal activities (including crafts, games, and stories) that will promote friendship!

Movie Night
Students will have the opportunity to laugh, connect, and spend time with their peers while watching a movie. Popcorn and a drink will be served! If they would like, students may be sent into school with a blanket, pillow and/or a personal snack.
