Program Center- The Color RED While learning about the Chinese New Year during program center lessons, we noticed that many things in the Chinese culture are red… the Chinese flag is red, the envelopes filled with money for gifts are red, and the lanterns hung up for festivals are red!

Using a book series helps students to recognize important elements of the story such as characters, setting, and plot through familiarity.
