Basket Bash Helpers
The super seniors in Mrs. Giorello’s room 512 have been busy working on an important job: Making the table numbers for the upcoming Basket Bash to be held on February 25th. There are 45 tables and each of the tables need a table number. The table number signs must be double sided so they can be seen from any angle.
The students in the class sat at the Cricut and helped design and cut out the snowflake shapes. There had to be twice as many snowflakes as there were tables.
The students counted each flake to make sure they had the right amount. The students used the Sissix machine to make the numbers for the signs and pulled them through a sticker making device. These numbers were then removed by the students and placed on the snowflakes. The snowflakes were then glued onto white squares of cardstock that they had measured and cut. These squares need to be secured to the metal stands….but these stands came in two pieces which needed to be screwed together. After they were screwed together and the number squares placed on them, they needed to be placed in numerical order and boxed. Super Seniors just love working on these types of jobs. They worked as a team, counting and gently placing the stands into the box. Got jobs? Come see the Super Seniors!
