FREE and Open to the Public. \nMidland and Tri-County CMO are co-hosting an Autism Awareness event on April 20th from 10:00 AM -12:00 PM in the Multi-purpose room at The Midland School. Hear special guest speaker\, Captain Gerald Turning\, Jr. of Blue Ridge Autism Training\, who will share information about his personal experience being a father of a child with autism as well as a retired police captain. He will talk about bridging the gap between first responders and parents. He trains first responders to interact and work with those with special needs.
